Dream, January 4, 2012 a short dialogue

“When rats take away all of the poison it calls into question two things: the efficacy of the poison, as such; and the hardiness of the rats.”

“Meaning?” asked Mae.

“Sometimes what you were sold is not what you bought.”

“And sometimes a creature comes to thrive on that which was designed to destroy it.”

“Well put. So one must come to recognize the poison eaters.”

“And to double check one’s purchases.”

“So endeth the lesson.”
