Dream, July 21, 2012

Dream, home, 3:25 am

Salvador Dali has arrived at a business run in a private home. The house was crowded with customers before he and his entourage arrived. Now it is downright unpleasant.

Gravity has effected his spine and he has compressed in stature – shaped more like Luis Bunuel, than the caricature stick-figure I know from photos. His bodyguard keeps people from getting too close to the artist, as the line of awestruck visitors files past.

I would rather not participate, but end up in the line as well. I notice that Dali looks into the faces of none of the people who have come to see him. Instead he looks into one corner of the living room ceiling or another.
